A Buyer’s Agent is someone who represents only the Buyer’s interests in a transaction with a Seller.
In the State of Texas, Realtors may be representing the seller unless they have what is called a Buyer’s Representation Agreement with a buyer. This agreement states that your Realtor represents your interests rather than those of the sellers by seeking the best property at the best price and under the best terms.
At Century 21 Beal, Inc. we work with a Buyer’s Representation Agreement simply because it is in the best interest of our buyers. This is a legal relationship and a written agreement should be executed that explains all the duties and responsibilities of both parties. This costs you no money – the seller can still pay the commission – but it ensures that your interests will be safe-guarded throughout this process. It is my job to help you make good decisions.
